Board of Commissioners

The New Hamburg Fire District held their first election to select it's original three Commissioners and one Treasurer on February 13, 1930. John Pauls was elected for one year, Warren Edgar for two years, and William J. Workman for three years. The first treasurer elected, who held a 3 year term, was Charles Wickes. Today the Board of Fire Commissioners still stand strong. The five men pictured make up the current Board. There is also a treasurer and a secretary who work very hard to keep the District financially sound and running smoothly. Today's Board of Fire Commissioners follow a long line of tradition that help make the District what it is today.
